Our Anesthesia Services

Mild Sedation

There are several strategies to achieve minimal sedation for dental patients. Depending on your health, anxiety, and procedure — mild dental sedation may include nitrous oxide or oral sedation medications.

Moderate Sedation

For procedures where moderate sedation is recommended, IV sedation will be deployed. This twilight state maintains patient consciousness while they remain mentally unaware resulting in no memory of the visit.

Deep Sedation

Deep sedation strategies or general anesthesia are used for complex, advanced, and lengthy dental visits including oral surgery and full mouth rehabilitation or dental implant surgery. The patient is monitored and rests unconsciously throughout the procedure.

I had an outstanding experience with Aspire Anesthesia. Dr Konstantina Giesberg was a complete angel! I have always suffered from severe anxiety before dental procedures. Dr. Giesberg a very high skilled anesthesiologist was incredibly kind and put me completely at ease with her calming presence and voice. Dr. Giesberg elevated my experience at my dentist's office in every way. With her level of professionalism and friendliness, I felt like she was my advocate. She called me the day before to review my patient history. I often feel rushed by medical professionals, but Dr. Giesberg took her time and encouraged me to ask all my questions. On the day of the appointment, I found her just as patient and thorough; we again reviewed the salient parts of my medical history with my fiance at my side. The IV is always the scariest part for me, but she did it so quickly and gently, it was over before I knew it. I woke up slowly, my fiance was brought into the room, and we had a smooth departure. Later that evening, Dr. Giesberg called to make sure that I was recovering as expected. She had given me nausea medication, which worked like a dream. I didn't even have any bruising at the IV site, and that is unusual for me. If I had to choose the best feature of Dr. Giesberg, I would pick her commitment to communication. I understood exactly what would happen before I arrived, and she explained to me what was about to happen step-by-step in the office. I only wish she had been the anesthesiologist for all my medical procedures. Dr. Giesberg deserves six stars.

I had a wonderful experience with the Aspire team. They were communicative from the start and at every step after. I needed a small dental procedure done but I was talked/explained through it with the same care as if I was having a procedure done in the hospital. From advice on bringing a blanket so I wouldn’t be cold when I woke up to explaining every step during set up and while administering the actual anesthesia, everything was done with kindness, clarity and competent care.

My experience with Dr. Giesberg far exceeded my expectations. I’m typically quite anxious when it comes to anesthesia, but Dr. Giesberg’s kindness, patience and competence made my anxiety magically disappear. I spoke with her several times before my surgery, as I had a number of concerns. Each and every time I called her I got nothing less than her full attention. By the time my day of surgery arrived, I knew I was in excellent hands and felt like I had a friend by my side. It was very reassuring. After the surgery, which went extremely well, Dr. Giesberg called to check up on me more than once and made it clear that she was there to help if I needed her. Dr. Giesberg is a consummate professional and a caring soul rolled into one. If I ever need an anesthesiologist again, I will certainly be asking for her.
